2007 Oak Hill Dr Springdale, AR 72762

Listing details for 2007 Oak Hill Dr, Springdale, AR 72762 : Calling all mid-century enthusiasts! Designed by Fay Jones protégé Tom Yost, and originally intended to be his personal home, this mid-60s “time capsule” features original terrazzo floors, multiple generous windows, and extensive use of Mahogony. The home echoes Fay Jones’s mentor Frank Lloyd Wright in his use of a waterfall and koi pond at the entrance, vaulted ceilings with wood beams in the living, and wide eaves as a nod to Eastern design influences. This brick 3 bed 2 bath home features the typical comforts that modern homebuyers want: 2 car garage, flat yard with mature trees on a quiet street, and large bedrooms. But it also features a few extras: a hidden wet bar opposite the fireplace in the living room, a glass enclosed back porch overlooking the pool and pool house, and generous built-ins off the kitchen. Constructed in what some have called “the golden age of homebuilding,” this unique piece of architecture has stood the test of time, in both quality and style. New roof in Sept 2024. 5 min from 49.
